Shelley and Stephan Trbuhovich are co-directors of Galerie Montmartre. Their passion for vintage poster art began during their 7 year stint in the USA. After a number of years of feverish collecting and dabbling in selling part-time, the hobby outgrew itself, so they brought the business home to Australia, formalising Galerie Montmartre in Melbourne in 2001. Galerie Montmartre not only has a beautiful retail space, but is a well established online gallery reaching the public through the website, fairs, exhibitions and e-newsletter 'Affichionado'. Galerie Montmartre prides itself on a personalised touch and ability to share the great enthusiasm, knowledge and love they have for this industry with as many people as possible.

The Gallery has been alive and well now for 10 or more years. Our axis runs runs through Paris and Melbourne. Brett making frequent trips to Paris and now residing in Melbourne . We were the first real dealers in posters in Australia and are happy to see a rising momentum in the Australians desire to have vintage posters on their walls. Hopefully due, in part, to our enthusiasm and enterprise.
