I Desire Vintage Posters opened in Toronto in 1987 by way of the art and design interests of Valerie and Jim Clark.We immediately saw lithographic posters as possibly giving the same excitement as great examples of other design objects. We have, therefore, made it a priority of our work to seek out and acquire, in the U.S. and Europe, graphic designs living up to that potential.Our graphic treasures include not only the familiar large format and travel size posters, but also wonderful small format promotions like vintage fans, pochoirs, vintage journals and catalogues, menus etc. as they also exhibit powerful graphics for the collector of vintage advertising. Since 2000, we have been for the most part an internet business, having previously exhibited in a variety of venues in the Toronto region, most notably a beverage poster show at the Seagram Museum.

The Yaneff International Fine Art was founded in 1975 by the world renowned graphic designer and respected art collector Chris Yaneff. He was elected to the Royal Academy of Art in 1977, and was an art adviser to many collectors and a Corporate Image consultant to major corporations throughout Europe and North America. Yaneff.com is now run by Greg Yaneff, who has developed his father's passion for fine art. Greg will assist clients in all aspects of buying, selling and researching posters.
