My name is Gerd Siekmann. I have been a collector since the 1980s and my website popdom.de has been online since 1998. From 1998 to 2005, I ran my private museum for design and everyday culture of the 1960s and 1970s POPDOM in Cologne. After a long hiatus, I relaunched the website in 2020, now as a sales portal for German concert posters from 1950 to the present day. My online shop offers everything from top international rock and pop stars to niche and experimental bands from across the musical subculture. Driven by personal interest, I specialize in the history of modern German music; consequently, I published a book on Krautrock in 2022. My Krautrock collection has been exhibited by museums on several occasions, and further books and exhibitions are currently in the works.
