Originally designed as a way for poor city children to stay in the countryside during the summer, Barnens Dag was created by an elementary school teacher called Agnes Lagerstedt after a similar program in Switzerland.

Vibrantly colored, beautifully printed and spectacular, we think this poster is an amazing tribute to children, to Sweden and to posters. Obtained from a large private collection in Sweden, this poster now graces a bedroom in Montreal.
