Paul and Karen Rennie, trading as Rennies Seaside Modern, are specialists in Modern British design and posters. We have had a shop for nearly thirty years, fifteen years in central London and now on the south coast of England. Our enthusiasm for posters derives from the evident technical quality of their printing and design; but also acknowledges posters and graphic design as important historical and cultural objects in their own right. Paul has written widely about the history of posters in Britain; including his Modern British Posters (2010 Black Dog Press). More recently, Paul has written about the safety propaganda for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. Paul's latest book is the much awaited monograph on the British designer Tom Eckersley, whose work for the Post Office, World Wildlife Fund and London Transport will be internationally recognised.
