Exhibition zezzaneera: «mmmhhh ... Poster!» in Ilanz

All sorts of things were advertised on the posters, from cars and train connections to tourist destinations, political statements, and referendums. Of course, outdoor advertising, often on a global scale, also served the food industry: spices, sausages, fruit juice, wine, canned ravioli, butter, ice cream, pudding, and fresh fruit—everything was depicted.

The summer exhibition focuses on the advertising medium of posters and a wide variety of food and drinks: Historical and colorful lithographs by Herbert Leupin, Emil Ebner, Eduard Stiefel, Herbert Libiszewski, Viktor Rutz or Hans Thöni are juxtaposed with contemporary posters by the artists Yvonne Gienal, Valerie Lipscher, Anete Melete and Nina Germann.

The exhibition is complemented by the traditional zezzaneera kiosk: mmmh! Regional gelato!
